The simple beauty of a forget me not (Myosotis scorpioides) on a Monday morning. These tiny delights can be direct sown once (about now you can just scatter where you'd like it to grow).
They're perennial so will return each year, usually joined by a few friends as they self seed freely. They ideally like semi shade and moist ground, these are happily growing in shade on the top of a chalk hill so a moist winter is enough to sustain if not in direct sun.
If you'd like any advice on your garden, get in contact, I'm busy helping lots of people get the most of their outdoor spaces with garden consultations at the moment, direct, concise one to one help with planting, seeding, design and layout. Cat@invitingspaces.co.uk Www.invitingspaces.co.uk
